Obituary of Dean Charles Allin

Former Owner of Allin Cable Reels July 2, 1937 – June 14, 2016 In his 79th year Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville Loving father of Tara-Lee Sellick (Lorne) and Karleen MacKenzie. Cherished “Poppi” of Luke and Kendra Sellick. Dear brother of Joan James (Norman). Loving son of the late William and Mary Allin. Dean was predeceased by his wife Dolores (2005) and step-daughter Marsha Darrach (2011). Survived by step children Michael White, Carolynn Real and many step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. Lovingly remembered by his best friend Susan Floyd, her son Kelly (Penny), daughter Leanne and granddaughters Abbey & Mckenah. He will also be remembered by all of his extended family, friends, neighbours and his first wife Karlie Byam. The family would like to thank all of the wonderful Doctors and Nurses at LHB for the excellent care Dean received.

At Dean’s request there will be no funeral. Cremation will take place with interment at Bowmanville Cemetery. A come and go Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday June 18th, 2016 at Bobby C’s, Lake Road Bowmanville from 2 – 4 pm. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to The Diabetes Association, Lakeridge Health Oshawa Durham Cancer Center or Lakeridge Health Bowmanville, and may be done through NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville, with whom arrangements are entrusted.
