Eleanor Debbie Hamlin

May 30, 1960 – April 3, 2022

Passed away peacefully on Sunday April 3^rd, 2022 at Bowmanville Hospital after a long and courageous battle with cancer.  Debbie made her home in Ottawa for many years.

She is survived by her children Ryan Burrett (Julie) and Emily Burrett (Kevin), grandchildren Allyson and Alexander Burrett of Ottawa.  Deb will be sadly missed by her dad, Peter Hamlin and his wife Lois of Oshawa, sister Diane Hollywood (Neil, Sarah and Rachel) of Bowmanville, cousins Linda and Gavin Hamlin of Brockville and other family members living in Ottawa, Vancouver, West Sussex, England and Lanark, Scotland.

Deb was predeceased by her mum Betty, cousin Pete, aunts and uncles George, Irene, Alan and Pat who all made lasting impressions on her life.

Deb was born and raised in Toronto and was a booster of all things Toronto.  She loved and followed the Toronto Blue Jays and the Toronto Maple Leafs with immense insight and knowledge.  May the logos of the Jays and Leafs be a reminder of Deb to those who love her and cherish her memory.

A Private Family interment will be held.  In lieu of flowers, donations to The Cancer Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
