Passed away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on January 23^rd, 2022 at the age of 80 years.

Beloved wife of George Wind.  Loving step-mother of John Enns-Wind (Annette); Lisa Enns (Bruce); Joy Adams and Janet Irwin (Scott).  Cherished Beppe of John Nathaniel, Joshua, Austin, Tori, Autumn, Kelsey, Braedyn and Kellen.  Very special ‘sister’ to Pam Johnston (John).

Many will remember the impact Mrs. Roenigk had on countless children during her many years as a teacher at Waverly Public School in Oshawa.

Due to current restrictions A Private Family Service will be held at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville.  A Celebration of Jo-Ann’s life will be held in the spring.  Memorial Donations may be made to The Alzheimer’s Society, Brain Injury Association of Durham or The World Wildlife Fund.
