My sincere condolences to your family. When my husband and I moved to Bowmanville years ago, we would take walks along the road leading to Bill and Mary’s farm. Bill was a permanent fixture on the front porch and we would always stop for a chat. Bill was the local historian and educated us on the people and events of the area. His recollection was amazing as he had lived on the farm most of his life. His stories often brought a smile to our faces and many would not be printed in the local history books! We were so sorry when the farm was levelled to make way for the new subdivision as we had grown very fond of both Mary and Bill. I will treasure many happy memories! Rest in Peace, Bill!
Ed and I send your our deepest condolences on your loss. We have fond memories of Uncle Bill, always remembering his wry sense of humour accompanied by a side grin and a twinkle in his eye.
Ralph and I would like to send our sincere condolences to all. Uncle Bill will always hold a special place in my heart. We always enjoyed our visits together, as well a our ice cream runs, whenever we visited in the summers. Hoping that all of your fond memories will bring you some comfort. Love from Sharon and Ralph in Newfoundland and Labrador.
