Surrounded by love, John passed away peacefully at Hillsdale Estates on November 9^th, 2021 at the age of 96 years.

Much loved husband of Ruth (nee Sackschewski).     Lovingly remembered by his children Raymond (predeceased 2021) & his wife Lynn, Katherine Lawson, David & his wife Lisa and John & his wife Juanita.  Cherished grandpa of Shaun (Jennifer), Ian (Sara), Jameson, Arden, Benjamin and Myla and great-grandpa of Xander and the late Hunter.  John is survived by his brother Robert and predeceased by siblings Lois, Eugene, Michael and Philip.

Special thank you to the wonderful staff at Hillsdale Estates, Blueberry Hill for the incredible care and compassion shown to John and the family.

A Memorial Service will be held at ST. JOSEPH’S ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 127 Liberty Street South on Saturday November 13^th at 2 pm.  To view the service virtually please follow the link to the church’s website provided below.  Spring interment will be held at St. George’s Catholic Cemetery.  Arrangements entrusted to NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. N. Memorial Donations may be made to The Heart & Stroke Foundation.
