Obituary of Andy Woischwill

Age 67 Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville after a courageous battle with cancer. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 25 years Sharon Woischwill (nee Toogood ) And his beloved son, Christopher Woischwill. Predeceased by his father George Woischwill. Andy is survived by his mother Vera Woischwill and brothers John and Thomas Woischwill of Thunder Bay. Andy will be greatly missed by his father in-law Edward (Ted) and his wife Carol Toogood. And by sister-in-laws Wendy Kearney (Rick) and Lori Toogood. He is fondly remembered by nephew Kirk Maijala, and step nieces and nephew Lisa, Sarah and Matthew Kearney. Andy will be remembered as a great teacher who loved to educate and motivate his students with stories and music. He was an employee with the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board and its predecessors for 20 years. Andy also taught on the Northern Reserve Kitchenumaykoosib for 3 years where he met his beloved wife Sharon. Andy's other interests included biking, kayaking, curling and teaching guitar. He loved introducing new students to the joy of guitar playing. Andy will be sadly missed by his friends, colleagues and students.
