Obituary of Dean Robert Sellers

Dean Robert Sellers

1956 – 2021

Dean left us peacefully with his family by his side at home, after a long courageous battle with COPD on May 25th, 2021 at the age of 64 years.

Beloved husband and soulmate of Sue.  Proud and loving father of Lisa-Marie (Chris) and Sarah (Luis).  Incredibly proud and adored Papa to Hope, Blake, Tristen, Isabel, Owen and Wyatt.  Beloved son of June Sellers and the late William (Bill) Sellers.  Predeceased by his sister Lori Sellers-Hastings (Cary).  Dean is remembered by his brother Scott (Brenda), brothers-in-laws and sister-in-law, many nieces, nephews, cousins extended family and friends.

Dean loved his dogs, being at his happy place at his trailer, spending time with his family and friends and teaching his grandchildren trade skills for later in life.  His humour, jokes and laughs with the grandkids will be truly missed.

Dean was a longtime employee of Gerdau-Cambridge formally Courtice Steel of Bowmanville from 1978 until he became ill.

A special thank you to Sue’s sister cousins for all of the love and support.  Dean’s nephew Mikey who has been a rock to lean on and the many friends and family. Also to Dr. Burke, nurses Cassandra & Tammy, psw Vicky and VHS home care.
