Irene Annie Hamilton

Passed away peacefully at Glen Hill Terrace on Saturday May 15^th, 2021 at the age of 84 years.

Beloved wife of the late Albert Hamilton.  Loving mother of Shirley (the late Gerry) Masterson, Trevor (Darla) Hamilton and Julie (Rob) Hoogkamp.  She was predeceased by her sons Albert and Denver.  She was the cherished Nana of 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.  Irene is survived by her sister Ida Patterson and predeceased by siblings Bob, Sam, Willy, Myriel, Geordie and Frankie.  She will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and countless friends.

Due to current restrictions, A Private Family Service will be held at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville on Thursday May 20th at 11 am.  A Celebration of Irene’s life will be held at a later date, when it is safe to do so.  Memorial Donations may be made to The Heart & Stroke Foundation.
