Lorne Clifford Heard

Of Oshawa, passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Hospital April 27, 2021 in his 91^st year, a life very well lived and enjoyed.

Lorne leaves behind his loving wife Evelyn Heard of 68 years.  Loving father of daughters Gale Coburn (Dennis) of Kirkfield and Sandra Best (Grant) of Newtonville.

Sadly, missed by his grandchildren Thomas Best (Allie) of Bowmanville, Christopher Best (Stephanie) of Cobourg, Kaitlynne Lowe (Andrew) of Halifax, predeceased by his grandson Peter Best.  Sorely missed by his great grandchildren

Dearly loved by his sister Shirley Wallace (Gord), predeceased by his sisters Ruby, Ina, Irene and brothers Bev, Don and Ron.

A very special thank you from the family to the staff of Saint Elizabeth Health Care, for all the wonderful care received at home for the past several years.

A private graveside service and burial will take place at Zion Cemetery and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date once COVID restrictions are lifted.  Notes of condolence may be left thru NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, with whom arrangements are entrusted.
