At this most difficult time, please accept our sincerest condolences on the passing of Aunt Sylvia. We will keep her in our prayers and wish her eternal peace. May you as a family be comforted in the fact that she is not suffering and now up in heaven looking down upon you like your personal guardian angel.

Sincerest condolences and blessings to dear Joan, Arthur and the entire Elgar family. Sylvia will forever hold a special place in our hearts as a loving, courageous and “one-of-a-kind” beautiful person. Her smile was perfection and her love of her family, genuine. Blessings to all who were privileged to know her. We ask that Gods’ newest angel, Sylvia, keep each of us ‘in our place’ and that we know that she is at peace and will be forever remembered with love and gratitude. ❤️🙏 Mary Jo Mahon & Andrew Oakes

My sincere condolences to the Elgar family. I was a former colleague/manager of Sylvia at HealthForceOntario. Sylvia was always a pleasant person and hard worker who loved to serve her clients and support her colleagues. She was an attentive listener and cared deeply about others. I won't forget in 2009 when Sylvia and I travelled across the province on a "road show" to promote our work. She took the scenic route, all across Highway 7 instead of the 401, so that we can catch up more during the drive back home from Ottawa. She was always great company with lively conversation. She will be missed.
