George Martin Barber

Passed away at Brant Community Healthcare System in Brantford on March 30^th, 2021 at the age of 79 years.

Beloved husband of Carole (nee Stewart).  Loving father of Wendy (Brian) Jeffers.  Adored grandfather of Stephen (Sarah), Brendy and Austin and great-grandfather of Avery & Hudson.  Dear brother in law of Rita Tavendale and the late Douglas Stewart.  He will be lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews and cousins here and in Scotland as well as Maureen & Sheila Barber.

A Visitation will be held at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville on Friday April 2nd from 2 – 4 pm.  In keeping with COVID-19 regulations attendance will be limited.  Those wishing to attend must RSVP for a timeslot by calling the funeral home (905) 623-5668.  A Private Service will be held in the Chapel at 4 pm.  In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to The Heart & Stroke Foundation.
