Longtime nurse at Bowmanville Hospital

Peacefully passed away at home on Saturday January 9^th, 2021 at the age of 66 years.

Beloved wife of Stan Read.  Loving mother of Meghan (Ken) Scott and Mackenzie (Chris) Loiselle.  Cherished grandma of Addison & Emma Scott.  Loving daughter of Bill & the late Marion Burgess. Dear sister of Lynda (Paul) Crago, Debbie (John) Snowden and Janice Burgess.  She will be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews and many friends.

Special thanks to Drs. Albert & Kassirer, Partners in Community Care, St. Elizabeth’s PSW’s and VHA for the excellent care & compassion shown to the family.

There will be no visitation or funeral. Arrangements entrusted to NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. Bowmanville.  Memorial Donations may be made to Bowmanville Hospital Foundation.
