Obituary of Ruth Jean Peters

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of RUTH JEAN PETERS (NEE HANNA) Peacefully at Glenhill Strathaven Bowmanville on April 19, 2020 in her 87th year. Ruth was predeceased by her parents Reginald and Irene Hanna and her son Stephen James. Beloved wife to Kenneth for over 66 years. Loving mother to daughters Janet (Robert), Margaret (Randy), Karen (Paul) and daughter in law Tina. Survived by 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Ruth’s family would like to extend their immense gratitude to Strathaven for giving Ruth such excellent care this past year. She was treated like a much loved member of their family. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date, arrangements will be published when finalized. Memorial Donations may be made to Glenhill Strathaven or The Alzheimer’s Society.
