Obituary of Roger L. Whattam

Born in Picton, Ontario ‘The County’ on September 28, 1946, leaving us too soon on October 1, 2014 at the age of 68 Much loved Dad of Shari Ashby and her Husband, Greg. Beloved Papa of Kaitlyn and William. Survived by his Dad, Harold Cronk and Sister, Lois Faye Cronk. Predeceased by his Mom, Kay Cronk and Brothers, Lenny Whattam and Kollan Cronk. Lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews, who have many great memories of their fun Uncle Roger. Roger will be greatly missed by his dear friends who were like family, Billy & Donna Meikle, Clint & Joy Kinney, Dave & Linda Todd, Brian & June Johnston and their families. A heartfelt thank you for the love and friendship you shared.

Friends and Family are welcomed to join us on Saturday October 25th between the hours of 1 and 4 pm at Riley’s Olde Towne Pub, 104 King St. E. in Oshawa, as we gather to remember Roger, and share in the many memories we have and cherish. Guests are encouraged to dress casually and bring a picture or memory to share. In memory of Roger, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation (www.heartandstroke.on.ca), or the Boys and Girls Club of Durham (www.bgcdurham.com) would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. North, Bowmanville.
