Passed away peacefully on

Monday December 2^nd, 2019 at age 89 years.

Beloved wife of the late Aries Pedro.  Loving mother of Maria (Antero) DoRego and Michael (Donna) Pedro.  She was predeceased by her son Joseph, parents Manuel & Angelina Torres and brother Edmundo.  Adored vavo to her grandchildren David, Mark (Diane), Michelle (Terry Kelly), Luke (Tasha) and Joel and great-grandchildren Ethan, Paige, Skylar, Emma, Jackson and Wyatt. 

Cecilia’s life began in São Miguel Island, in the Azores Portugal.  Her main focus was her family, she learned at an early age how to sew and provided homemade clothes for all of her family.

Visitation will be held at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. Bowmanville, on Thursday December 5^th from 9:30 – 10:30 am.  Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel at 10:30.  Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Thornhill. Memorial Donations may be made to Durham Region Cancer Centre.
