Obituary of Marilyn Dian McPhaden

Marilyn Dian was born in Toronto, Ontario on July 31, 1943. She entered Heaven’s gates peacefully on Monday November 18, 2019.

Marilyn was predeceased by her husband Allen (Ozzie) McPhaden. Marilyn is survived by and will be dearly missed by her son James Baillie and spouse Karen Bolton Papaleo, son Steven McPhaden and spouse Leslie Raitt. She is also survived by her granddaughter Ashley McPhaden and step grandchildren, Taryn Papaleo, Riley Papaleo and Nicole Raitt.

Marilyn will be remembered as a devoted, loving wife and mother.  Her greatest joys in life were spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends, most especially over the holidays and family get togethers. Although she grew up in Toronto, she spent many of her younger days at her family cottage on Belmont Lake and later in life spent many memorable years on the Trent River with her loving husband Ozzie.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday December 7^th, from 12pm to 4pm at ROLLING ACRES, 2941 Taunton Rd, Bowmanville, Ontario. Arrangements enrusted to NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division Street, Bowmanville. Donations in Memory of Marilyn may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
