With his loving family by his side, Roy passed away on Sunday August 25th, 2019 at the age of 85 years.


Beloved husband of Helen (nee Kuzyk).  Loving father of Lorne (Cindy), Morris, Shelly (Jamie) Duquette and the late Ken.  Cherished grampa of 
Dawn (Emmanuel), Matthew (Kayla), Hannah (Sean), Gloria (Steve), Tyler, Jennifer (Jon), Frances, Scott, Kristen and great-grampa of Autumn, Braxton, Bentley, Faith, Inara, Eva, Kiara, Saiorse, Mariah and soon to be Gavin.  Roy was predeceased by his siblings Louise Coates and Wesley & Maudine Morton.  Brother in law to Bruce Coates, Pete (Jackie) Kuzyk, Mike Kuzyk and June (Ed) Sobanski.  He will be lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews and many friends.

The family wishes to thank the amazing staff at Ontario Shores and Bowmanville Hospital for their care and compassion as well as the community of Enfield for their continued support.


Visitation will be held at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St., on Thursday August 29th, 2019 from 6 – 9 pm.  A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday at 2 pm, with visitation one hour prior.  Interment Bowmanville Cemetery.  Memorial Donations may be made to Ontario Shores or Enniskillen/Tyrone United Church.
