Obituary of Alex Sokoljuk

Peacefully passed away at Bowmanville Hospital on Saturday July 27, 2019.

Predeceased by his parents Alex and Alexandra Sokoljuk, and his first born son, Timothy. Beloved husband of Sharon (Siblock), loved father of Alecia (Ken), Lauri (Wes), and Tyler (Leslie), brother to Vera (Bill) and Henry. He will always be loved and remembered by his grandchildren, Cameron, Ella, Alex, Luke, Natalie, Anna, Julia, Christian, and Evan. Alex was a retired firefighter with the Oshawa Fire Department. A true outdoorsman - he loved hunting and fishing.

A private family celebration will take place at his beloved cottage on Aylen Lake. If desired, donations to Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters can be made on his behalf, www.ofah.org  Arrangements entrusted to NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. Bowmanville.
