A lifetime hardworking farmer, Robert went out to the beautiful pasture beyond on December 16, 2018, in his 102^nd year.

Beloved husband of the late Alice (nee Basnett) and the late Mary (nee McKirgan). Loving father of Ruth McCurdy and her husband Peter Stewart. Cherished grandpa of Andrew (Janet) McCurdy, Heather McCurdy, and great grandpa of Sophie & Riley. Predeceased by his sister Jane and brother Thomas.

Visitation will be held at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. Bowmanville, on Friday January 11^th from 12 pm – 1 pm. A Celebration of Robert’s Life will follow in the Chapel at 1 pm. Interment Orono Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Camp Trillium Capital Fund (supported by Odd Fellows since 1984) or to the Orono United Church.
