Obituary of LUCY GERTRUDE IRENE PELLERIN

(nee Kelly) April 29 1920 - January 6, 2012 PROVERBS 28:25 HER CHILDREN STAND AND BLESS HER. Quietly passed away in the loving presence of family at Lakeridge Health, Bowmanville, on Friday, January 6, 2012. Gertie, wife of the late Steve Pellerin (2000) and the late James Chalmers (1982). Much loved mother of Patricia (Robert, deceased) Long, John (Helen) Chalmers, Elaine Rennie, Stephen (Kathleen) Pellerin Jr., Deborah (Peter) Berlenbach, Donna-Marie Pellerin, Judith (Mark) Pellerin-Cameron. Will be greatly missed by her grandchildren: Shannon & Mark, Kevin & Kelly, Robyn & Randy, Jess & Kristen, Melissa & Amanda, Ashley & Nathaniel, Malachi & Noah. Great-grandmother to: Matthew & Sarah, Jewel, Skye, Eryn, Michael & Danielle. Great-great-grandmother to: Sydney Alice & Lucy. She will be dearly missed by her niece, Diana (Heiki) Aus and their family, her cherished friend Marj Burtis, and many nieces & nephews. Predeceased by her sister Ethel (Pat) Mabberley and her brother, Edward (Ned) McCord, sister-in-law Marguerite (Peg ) Somerton, survived by her sisters-in-law Earla McCord, Jean Hadlow and Marian (William) Maitland. Join us in celebrating her life at the NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division Street, Bowmanville. Visitation on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 from 6-9 p.m. and Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at 10 a.m. with the service to follow at 11a.m. Interment at Bowmanville Cemetery. Reception to follow at Trinity United Church, Bowmanville. In lieu of floral tributes, donations may be made in Gertie’s memory to the charity or church of your choice.
