JUNE THOMPSON

(nee Wiberg)

Age 83 years

Surrounded by her loving family, June passed away after a brief hospital stay on Sunday July 23, 2017 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa

Beloved wife of 61 years to the late Alan Thompson.  Adored mother of Les, Ken (Sue), Yvonne (Martin) and Geoff (Debbie).  Cherished Grandma to Courtney (Graeme), Samantha, Andrew, Matthew and Amanda.  Great-grandma of Madelyn and Jackson.

June was predeceased by her brother Ernie Wiberg.  She is survived by her sister in law Noreen Wiberg, as well as her nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville on Friday July 28, 2017 from 1 – 2 pm.  A Memorial Service will follow in the Chapel at 2 pm.  Memorial Donations may be made to The Alzheimer’s Society of Durham Region.
