Obituary of Ann Strikwerda

In God’s wisdom and in His timing, God suddenly called our mother home on Monday, July 3, 2017, in her 76th year.

Beloved wife of the late Jim Strikwerda. Loved mother of Michael Van Zalen (Benita), Kim Bakker (Dave), and John Van Zalen (Michele). Loved step-mother of Jack Strikwerda (Audrey), Sandra Venema (Wilf) and Carolyn Hyma (John). Cherished Beppe of 18 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Grace Leyenhorst and Henk Woelinga. Predeceased by her brothers Steve & Jerry Woelinga. She will be also missed by many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at MOUNT LAWN MEMORIAL GARDENS, 21 Garrard Road, Whitby, on Thursday, July 6th at 12:30 pm. A Funeral Service will follow at MARANATHA CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 2805 Hwy #2, Bowmanville, at 2 pm. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society through.
