Obituary of Elizabeth Manda

Elizabeth Manda (née Csernyak) died peacefully on July 2, 2017, in Whitby, Ontario, at the age of 93.

Elizabeth was born on April 27, 1924 in Temerin, Serbia to Jozsef and Veronika Csernyak. She was married to Eugene Manda who predeceased her.

Elizabeth is survived by her daughters Anna Marschall of Pickering, Ontario and Marika Zamboki of Winston-Salem, NC, and a sister Veronika Igracki of Bowmanville, Ontario.  She is also survived by grandchildren George Marschall of King City, Ontario, Noeli Papa of Uxbridge, Ontario, Sylvia Gaspar of Winston-Salem, NC and Peter Zamboki of Isle of Palms, SC. Great-grandchildren include Angelo, Julia and Maria Papa; George, Alec and Christian Marschall;  Emily, Adam and Ella Gaspar and Beecher Zamboki. She is also survived by nieces and nephews in Canada and Serbia.

Visitation will be held at Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home, 53 Division Street Bowmanville on Thursday, July 6th from 6 – 8 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, July 7th at 2 pm.  Interment Groveside Cemetery, Whitby, Ontario.
