Obituary of Tara Marie Ruckstuhl

TARA MARIE RUCKSTUHL

April 13, 1983 – June 24, 2017

Tara followed her own unique path and showed kindness to all those she passed while she tried to spread love and light to our world.  She stood with conviction and independence with all she did and was never deterred by the opinion of others.  When she loved, she loved with her whole heart and was a vicious protector of those she cared for.  Her path had always led her to reach for the stars and she will forever hold her place amongst them.

Tara is survived by her husband Andre Silva, her mother Marilyn Ruckstuhl and siblings Amber and Colton.  Much loved aunt to Ryane and Leland.  Adored niece of Karen Kelly, Valerie Chaplin (Phil), Heather Strang (Fred) and Tom Mead (Carol).  Tara was predeceased by her father Bill Ruckstuhl, grandmother Lorna Mead, aunt Marlene Mead & cousin Andrew Chaplin.  She will be sadly missed by Andre’s parents Jose & Luciana Furtado, his cousin Nadia Furtado, dear friends Janet & Jesse Ratcliffe as well as her many cousins and countless friends.

A Celebration of Tara’s Life will be held at Kinsmen Heritage Centre, 120 Roberson Drive, Ajax on Sunday July 2nd, 2017 from 1 – 9 pm, all are welcome and are encouraged to dress brightly or wear your favourite onesie!  Tara found beauty in all areas of life, in her honour please look for beauty in others, or create some by planting a tree or flowers in her memory.  Arrangements entrusted to NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St., Bowmanville.
